Thurston Shacklady composes and produces music for Film Television Games and Multi-media.
Trained under the direction of David Hill as a chorister at Winchester Cathedral and followed by a scholarship at Milton Abbey School in which he specialised in the study of music, Thurston started composing in his early teens.
After leaving high school Thurston embarked in a degree in Music with Computer Sound Design at The University of Surrey. Followed by an MA in Composing Music for Film and Television at Bristol University.
Thurston orchestrates his own work using Sibelius, creating full scores and instrumental parts for recording sessions. His work has been used in a number of films for the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and has had music used by the BBC.
