Luke Phillips is a composer and multi-instrumentalist with influences ranging from the impressionist ambience of Claude Debussy to Radiohead’s electronic rhythm and heavy elements. Luke has with a first-class BA Hons Degree in Composition for Professional Media.
Luke scored the soundtrack for the British drama A Congregation of Ghosts starring Golden Globe and BAFTA winner Edward Woodward. Luke’s soundtrack is an emotive cavalcade of layered string sweeps and subtle, mood-enhancing piano melodies that enhance the sumptuous cinematography. Luke worked closely with director Mark Collicott. To fit within budget A Congregation of Ghosts’ soundtrack was created with real instruments together with high quality orchestral and string samples.
