Richard Ford is classically trained and played with several bands in the 1980s in Yorkshire and London, appearing on Chris Cowey’s TX45 in 1985 (Tyne Tees TV). From 1986 to 1989 Richard was the keyboard player and arranger for the McCormick brothers’ infamous band Shook Up! Immortalised in the 2009 film and book ‘I was Bono’s Doppelganger’. From 1989 to the present he has worked on countless studio projects for TV and short films including:

‘Square One Maths’ for BBC schools in 1991, title sequence and other featured music.
‘Johnny Bravo’ promos for Cartoon Network 2002.
‘Am I Normal’ for the BBC in 2008, titles and incidental music.
‘Real Cities’ for BBC World, incidental music.
‘Paris – City of Dreams’, BBC 2007.
‘Summer of Noise’, C4 2007.
