Digital Content Agency and content partners provided multi-media content and services for the BBC World News series The Real, including, titles and incidental music, images and photographs, website design, build and hosting, domain name management and renewal, article and image editing and formatting, cloud services...

Chances are you have watched BBC World News on your travels while staying in a hotel, or sitting on a plane. If so, there is a good chance you have seen an episode from the BBC World News TV series, ‘The Real’. Presenters on The Real take the viewer on an exploration of major cities finding unusual locations that tourists rarely see.

Digital Content Agency contributors provided the titles music and incidental music for each series, consisting of 5 programmes each. Our multi-media content partners also built, developed and hosted the websites that accompanied The Real series 1 and series 2. They worked with the production company to ensure all content, video, images and copy were delivered on time ready for online viewing in line with the BBC World News TV transmission dates. Our team also provided additional photographs for The Real series 1 website.

The Real was an exciting project to work on with tight deadlines, and large amounts of multi-media data and information to source, organise and process. The production crew were filming, writing, uploading and downloading content to and from their client accounts day and night from all over the world. This three-part series features award-winning reporter Michael Cockerell who uncovers secrets of the Home Office, Foreign Office and Treasury. These grand Whitehall institutions were built in Victorian times when the British Lion dominated the globe. Cockerell combines fresh access filming with rare unseen archive and interviews to deliver a fascinating insight into behind the scenes battles between Prime Ministers, foreign secretaries, senior officials and MI6.
