These grand Whitehall institutions were built in Victorian times when the British Lion dominated the globe. Cockerell combines fresh access filming with rare unseen archive and interviews to deliver a fascinating insight into behind the scenes battles between Prime Ministers, foreign secretaries, senior officials and MI6.
